China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the 33rd batch of the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Purchase Tax Exemption Catalog, revealing range specifications for 19 highly anticipated new models. The lineup spans pure electric (BEV), hybrid, SUV, sedan, and MPV segments, with the longest pure-electric range surpassing 1,000km — a milestone for consumers seeking long-range new energy vehicles.
1. Li Auto i9
Positioned as a large pure-electric SUV, the Li Auto i9 inherits the design language of the Li Auto i8 and is scheduled for launch in September. It offers a six-seat layout with an optional Home version. Measuring 5,225mm in length with a 3,168mm wheelbase, the i9 features dual motors and battery packs from CATL and Sunwoda. The declared variant is equipped with a 101kWh battery, delivering a pure-electric range of 680km and 705km.
2. BYD Tang Pro
The updated BYD Tang, likely badged "Tang Pro," retains the family design language. It measures 5,045mm long with a 2,950mm wheelbase and offers 88.682kWh and 105.792kWh battery options, achieving CLTC pure-electric ranges of 730km, 830km, and 850km. It is expected to feature BYD's second-generation Blade Battery with ultra-fast charging technology.
3. Volkswagen (Anhui) 与众 09
The 与众 09 is a mid-to-large pure-electric sedan with a design similar to the 与众 08. It measures 5,081mm long with a 3,030mm wheelbase and is available in single-motor and dual-motor variants, both powered by CATL battery packs. The declared 91.963kWh battery delivers CLTC ranges of 705km and 755km.
4. Xiangjie V8
Jointly developed by BAIC and Huawei, the Xiangjie V8 is a mid-to-large MPV with a design reminiscent of Li Auto's i-series. Measuring 5,335mm long with a 3,250mm wheelbase, it will be offered in both range-extender and pure-electric versions. The range-extender variants feature 56kWh and 75.4kWh batteries with pure-electric ranges of 260km, 275km, and 339km; the pure-electric version carries a 120kWh battery with ranges of 775km and 830km.
5. Updated Fangchengbao Titanium 7
The updated Titanium 7 completed its MIIT filing in July, with range details disclosed in August. Styling remains largely unchanged. The entry-level variant retains a 26.628kWh battery with 105km of pure-electric range, while the higher-spec version upgrades to a 50.001kWh battery, delivering 210km and 230km.
6. Geely Galaxy Battleship 700
The Galaxy Battleship 700 is Geely's mid-to-large boxy SUV, equipped with a tri-motor plug-in hybrid system available in 1.5T and 2.0T variants, powered by CATL batteries. The declared 47.14kWh battery delivers pure-electric ranges of 165km, 170km, and 185km.
7. Chery iCAR V25
The iCAR V25 is a mid-size boxy SUV sharing design cues with the iCAR V23 but in a larger footprint — 4,636mm long with a 2,820mm wheelbase. It features a 1.5T range-extender system with a 33.679kWh battery, delivering pure-electric ranges of 145km and 150km.
8. Changan Qiyuan A05L
The all-new Qiyuan A05L is a pure-electric mid-size sedan targeting the 100,000 RMB market segment. It measures 4,800mm long with a 2,825mm wheelbase and offers 120kW and 200kW motor options paired with 40.29kWh, 51.91kWh, and 63.75kWh batteries, achieving ranges of 440km, 540km, and 620km.
9. Updated Bestune Pony
The Bestune Pony is a pure-electric microcar, with a five-door version expected later this year. The current lineup uses an 18.11kWh battery with a 222km CLTC range. New filings add 16.96kWh, 16.97kWh, 26.71kWh, and 27.19kWh options, delivering ranges of 222km and 328km.
10. Hongqi Tiangong 07
The Tiangong 07 is a mid-to-large coupe-style sedan measuring 5,000mm long with a 3,000mm wheelbase. It features a pure-electric powertrain — the single-motor version delivers 340kW, while the dual-motor version outputs 190kW/340kW. Equipped with 74.6kWh and 85.3kWh batteries, it achieves CLTC ranges of 640km, 680km, and 730km.
11. Updated Zhijie R7
The updated Zhijie R7 retains its coupe styling but upgrades to a more powerful 227kW drive motor. It offers 78.5kWh, 81.1kWh, 97.675kWh, and 100.256kWh battery options, delivering pure-electric ranges of 705km, 785km, and 855km.
12. Denza N8
The all-new Denza N8 can be viewed as the five-seat version of the Denza N8L, sharing a similar design. It measures 5,150mm long with a 3,075mm wheelbase and offers single-motor and tri-motor variants built on the e³ platform. With 105.792kWh and 130.15kWh battery options, it achieves pure-electric ranges of 800km, 840km, 970km, and a class-leading 1,003km.
13. Denza N8L Pure Electric Version
The Denza N8L is currently sold only as a plug-in hybrid starting at 299,800 RMB. A pure-electric variant will soon join the lineup, equipped with a 130.15kWh battery and a CLTC pure-electric range of 960km.
14. Updated AITO M8
The updated AITO M8 will be available in five-seat and six-seat configurations with unchanged dimensions. It offers 1.5T range-extender and pure-electric powertrains. The range-extender versions feature 56.036kWh and 75.408kWh batteries with pure-electric ranges of 246km, 345km, and 352km; the pure-electric variants carry 97.644kWh and 120.04329kWh batteries, delivering ranges of 625km, 652km, 735km, and 763km.
15. Volkswagen ID.AURA T6
The ID.AURA T6 is FAW-Volkswagen's mid-size pure-electric SUV, measuring 4,811/1,879/1,648mm with a 2,836mm wheelbase and a five-seat layout. Built on the CEA electronic and electrical architecture, it features a 170kW motor with 59.9kWh and 77.5kWh battery options, achieving ranges of 540km and 660km.
16. Jetta M6
The Jetta M6 is the brand's first pure-electric model, a mid-size sedan built on Jetta's self-developed Jiesi architecture and dedicated EV platform. It measures 4,806mm long with a 2,820mm wheelbase and offers 113kW and 145kW motor options with CALB battery packs of 42.9kWh and 51.9kWh, delivering ranges of 465km and 555km.
17. Voyah Dreamer 9
Positioned above the current Dreamer, the Dreamer 9 is a mid-to-large MPV featuring a two-tone paint scheme, a standing hood ornament, and a four-lidar intelligent driving system. It will be offered in 1.5T plug-in hybrid and pure-electric versions. The PHEV variant carries a 64.8kWh battery with pure-electric ranges of 291km and 300km; the BEV version features a 119.6kWh battery with a 701km range.
18. Arcfox Alpha T7
The Alpha T7 is Arcfox's mid-to-large coupe-style SUV, empowered by Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system. It offers 1.5L range-extender and pure-electric variants. The range-extender version features a 43.9kWh battery with 232km of pure-electric range; the BEV variants carry 75.4kWh and 84.8kWh batteries, delivering ranges of 650km and 715km.
19. M-Hero X700
The M-Hero X700 is a mid-to-large plug-in hybrid SUV with a boxy design and a unibody (load-bearing) chassis rather than a ladder frame, positioning it in the "lifestyle off-road" category. It features Huawei's Hongmeng cockpit and Qiankun intelligent driving system, powered by a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system with 51.46kWh and 68.10kWh battery options, delivering pure-electric ranges of 228km and 285km.
Among these 19 models, the Denza N8 claims the longest pure-electric range, reaching 1,003km with its 130.15kWh high-capacity battery — while most other pure-electric models in the batch sit in the 600–700km range. As battery technology continues to advance, range anxiety is rapidly diminishing, offering consumers more high-value, high-quality new energy vehicle choices than ever before.
